This commercial remodel project is located at  at 5100 Vernon Avenue, Edina, MN 55436.

Project Summary:

APPRO teamed up with the owner on this project with the goal to dress up the exterior of the existing building. The key components of this project include the following:

  • Preparation of existing building, including demo of existing metal soffit/fascia
  • Power wash existing brick and block
    Lay new thin rock-face and brick  to height of new soffits
  • Construct and finish new EIFS pilasters on each side of new entry
  • Raise middle parapet structure and frame for new rounded parapet area at main entry
  • Install metal panel soffit and fascia
  • Paint EIFS accents, existing hollow metal doors, frames and near-door bollards
  • Install sconces at new pilasters and re-adjust existing electrical outlets to final exterior

A new warehouse addition is under way for Applied Power Products in Lakeville, Minnesota. This project will increase the existing facility by 43,861 SF for this single story structure. The project will include precast concrete wall panel and structural steel roofing for this industrial construction project. Additional features of the project are to include: upgraded electric, new openings and drive-way expansion to accommodate those new drive-in doors.

This new Lakeville design build project is under way for NPL. Located on the south side of CR-70 in the Airlake Industrial Park, this project is to construct a 15,000 SF free standing pre-engineered metal building. The building will include approximately 5,355 SF of office and 9,645 SF of workshop space.

Project Summary

A new building expansion project has been started for BTD Manufacturing located in Lakeville, MN.

The description of the work is described below for the 15,910 square foot Building Expansion.

Building Expansion:
Excavation, footings, exterior precast walls including a partial glass vestibule
Install site utilities, structural steel with steel bar-joist for 2nd floor & decking and
concrete fuel pad located along east side of building
Truck Bay to include:
Concrete floor slab, concrete footings ready for Owner’s steel and crane installation,
2-12’x16’OH exterior doors, 2-Fairborn dock levelers with restraints, unit heaters
(exclude air conditioning), fire sprinkler system, electrical – lighting only, and
plumbing for roof drain system.
Office Space to include the following:
Main floor & second floor to be finished as per plan
Metal stud framing, drywall, paint, solid-core oak doors with an acoustical ceiling
Provide a 3-stop, 2500# capacity elevator
Room floor finishes to be combination of quartz floor with vinyl base, carpet,
restroom – ceramic tile, storage & maintenance room to be concrete per plan
Lighting, HVAC (heat & cooling), floor cutting for plumbing & plumbing piping.

Our team will be working with the owner to create a 4,470 SF addition to the existing building at this location. Some of the work will include:

  • Demo existing parking lot and gas canopy
