A new industrial building expansion project for Valmont Industries, Inc., has been awarded to APPRO Development. This 149’x80′,  12,030 SF addition is being constructed to expand the existing facility. The goals of this industrial building expansion are to improve the yard flow of materials, and to improve access to the building from a public street, while maintaining working operations to the fullest extent while this addition is being built.

Menasha Packaging Expansion Project: Lakeville, MN

New Industrial Park Expansion Project Starting

Expansion Project by APPRO for Menasha - Precast S end 9-10-14 (1)The Menasha Packaging Expansion project in Lakeville, MN has been awarded to APPRO Development, Inc. This project consists of a 121,578 SF addition with rail dock and a 4,780 SF office addition for the purpose of increasing an already existing manufacturing plant and office space. The expansion is a single story building with office and manufacturing spaces, and the office addition is also a single story building to include a design center. This 126,000 SF expansion will increase the existing 238,000 SF building by more than 50% in size.

This building project is located at the Menasha Packaging building located just across the street from the Airlake Airport in the Airlake Industrial Park. The Airlake Industrial Park is the second largest industrial park in the state of Minnesota and home to more than 150 businesses. The park continues to grow each year, with companies choosing to locate here because of its proximity to the airport, rail lines, and to the interstate highway system (I-35) as well as local highways (Cedar Avenue – CR-77). Special Considerations

Buildings are slab on grade, with warehouse building to be constructed of precast concrete wall panels for the exterior walls, and structural steel roof . The office addition is to include concrete block walls and structural steel roof. Both buildings to include a TPO roofing system and to be fully sprinklered.

Steve’s Tire and Auto is moving ahead with a new addition project at their 34th Avenue South location in Minneapolis, MN. APPRO Development is pleased to work with this owner on another design-build commercial construction project. Our team will be working with the owner to create a 4,470 SF addition to the existing building at this location. Some of the work will include:

Carwash remodel project by APPRO for River Country Co-op-3Carwash remodel project for River Country Co-op is now complete at 9290 202nd Street West, Lakeville, Minnesota 55044. This commercial remodeling project consists of remodeling existing shop space into a carwash bay.

This 1,862 square foot remodel project is to consist of two phases of work. The first is the demolition portion of the project. The second, is the new construction portion.

The demolition work is to include: steel, concrete, electrical, framing, hardware, and plumbing work.

The new construction will include a new office, drains, flammable waste trap, carwash bay, wash & dry equipment, canopy extension and bollards installation.

Expansion Project - Recycling Center: Lakeville, MN 2014-08-02 Dick's Sanitation (19)APPRO Development, Inc. has launched a new design-build expansion project for Dick’s Sanitation in Lakeville, MN.

The project consists of a 34,170 SF renovation of an existing office warehouse building into a recycle facility. The scope of this project will include new dock and doors and conveyor pits. Additional components of this project to include: excavation, sawcutting, HVAC, and sprinkler systems. Dick’s Sanitation and its new Recycling Center are located in Lakeville’s Airlake Industrial Park. This is one of the largest industrial parks in the state of Minnesota.
