BUILDERS FIRSTSOURCE(FORMERLY PRO-BUILD or BERNCO), A DESIGN-BUILD SHOWROOM PROJECT, LAKEVILLE, MN
The team at APPRO Development managed this design build showroom project for Bernco (now known as Builders FirstSource and formerly ProBuild) to showcase its residential doors, windows and cabinets located in Lakeville, Minnesota. Adaptive reuse of former warehouse space allowing for high ceilings and serpentine soffit that defines the kitchen and bath cabinet sales area. Doors and stair case components are working showroom pieces. Showroom includes many different vignettes featuring a multitude of finishes and styles.
Special Considerations
- Remodeling of existing warehouse space into finished showing space
- Sound reduction features to reduce noise from nearby process equipment
- Work accomplished next to operating offices
- Replace existing stair with new stair complying with current code requirements while utilizing decorative wood components
